Fantasmas - San Salvador 87-74

Fantasmas outrebounded San Salvador 51-30 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American swingman Andravious Smith (198-1995, college: Tougaloo) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Caleb Bowser (193, college: Georgian Court) helped adding 28 points and 6 rebounds. The best for the losing side was Cuban swingman Neysser Coutin (192-1996, agency: Pro Sports) with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and Ernesto Rodriguez (170-2001) scored 14 points. Four Fantasmas and five San Salvador players scored in double figures.

Metapan dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Santiagueno's 38. They outrebounded Santiagueno 58-26 including a 41-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Metapan looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Santiagueno's players. The best player for the winners was Puerto Rican Xavier Zambrana (193-1991) who scored 37 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists (on 16-of-17 shooting from the field). American point guard Leangelo Saravia (183, college: Oakland City) chipped in 31 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Santa Ana brought some defensive toughness making 14 blocks. It was a good game for Dominican forward Frankyn Batista (198-1999, college: Pace) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 19 rebounds and 6 assists. American swingman Shian Bradshaw (194-1995, college: Wake Tech CC) contributed with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) for the winners. Batista is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Dominican forward Adonis Lopez (-1997) answered with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks and Dominican swingman Juan De Los Santos (193-2002) added 18 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Brujos.

It was a great evening for guard Jeremy Agosto (177-1997) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists. Center Troidell Carter (206-1991, college: Slippery Rock) helped adding 17 points and 19 rebounds. Four Cojute players scored in double figures.
